Half Way Point
Hooray!
I've survived and made it to the half way mark! So now I am on the down hill slope of anticipation for Professor's return from his 3 week vacation. Oh, and surprisingly, I have made it to this half way point without having to add even one single, solitary offense to my list! Hooray! Yes, I'm sure you are all shocked that I've managed 11 days of angelic behavior in the absence of my Disciplinarian.....but I have so behaved perfectly....so there! :)
I had been kind of pissy because Professor has tried to call me a couple times since he has been gone and I wasn't available when he had called, so I hadn't been able to talk to him by phone. He knows how important hearing his voice has become to me, so he did make sure to leave me voicemails when I hadn't answered his calls.....see.....more proof of sweetness! Lol! He called yesterday when I was driving and I answered.....so I *finally* got to talk to him! I was so happy. :) We actually talked for more than an hour. So I think I might manage behaving until his return, after all. His voice has a way of chasing the naughtiness away....fast! :)
I can't wait to see him when he gets home! :) I kinda miss him a bunch. His next week and a half will likely consist of more family fun stuff.....though he isn't really the relaxing type.....he is more of the fix stuff, drive boats, grill food type....lol....oh well, at least he is enjoying some time away from 'normal' and getting in some quality family time. He should come back in a pretty good mood. I will spend the next week and a half trying to keep myself busy and attempting to remember to behave myself. :)

I'm happy that you had a chance to talk to the Professor.
ReplyDeleteYou laughed when I said you were capable of angelic behavior! See, I told you so. (I rarely say that because it is usually mean, but not this time.) I am very proud of you.
i enjoyed this..it got me thinking though about the complexities most of us in blogland seem to live with.
ReplyDeletegood luck with the rest of your angelique behaviour ;)
Susan....Yes ma'am, you told me so! :) Let's hope it continues
ReplyDeletelittleone....My life is nothing if not complex in this area and I know you understand that, as you also have a Dom with which you play but don't reside....this relationship dynamic certainly has its challenges but as my Professor tells me, "Things worth having are worth working for, and at times, worth waiting for." I am more than willing to work through the scheduling conflicts that arise and wait through our separations because what we have & continue to build is more than worth it :)
It is all in your hands. I KNOW you can do it.
ReplyDeleteUm, you do know how to revive someone who has fainted, don't you? Because the Professor might just faint when he finds nothing on your list. ;)
Susan....lol, yes ma'am I do. As long as he were with me when he needed revived, I wouldn't let him die of shock :) If he weren't with me then I'd have to revert back to my skill for driving triple digits safely to get to him to make sure he was ok. I think if its life or death, I might be forgiven for the speed? Hmmm, going to have to ask about that one. :) I'd bet if he fainted, all I'd have to do is say "Hooray, time to burn the implements" and he would wake right up :)
ReplyDeleteIn regular courts when you have a really good reason for breaking a law, you use "necessity" as a defense. So, in a life or death situation, speeding would be justifiable since waiting for an ambulance might not be wise. (In real life, a prosecutor would be unlikely to file charges in such a case.)
ReplyDeleteI do think that your idea for bringing him out of a faint would work admirably, much superior to smelling salts.
